Rabbi Micha Hyman was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
After completing his studies at the University of Texas, he fulfilled his dream of moving to the Land of Israel.
After starting his Yeshiva studies at Machon Meir, Harav continued his studies in several yeshivot until finally receiving smicha from Yeshivat Lev Yisrael in Bet Shemesh.
At that point, Rabbi Micha Hyman returned to Machon Meir to teach and has been there ever since.
His focus at the yeshiva is the personal attention he tries to give to each student.
His goal is help each student tap into the inspiration of the Torah in a lasting way to provide them with the clarity and vitality they will need in order to build their lives in a balanced, Torah way.
When Harav is not in the yeshiva, Harav can be found teaching in Ramat Bet Shemesh, playing music, exploring the beautiful hills of Israel, in the Bet Midrash learning, or at home in Ramat Bet Shemesh with his wife and children.
